Full Original Games Tetris Freeware for Pocket PC ReviewedAs far as Original Games Tetris freeware goes, you may think that a mediocre review is akin to looking a gift Pocket PC freeware horse in the mouth.
If said horse is as drab as this download is, you may think otherwise.Original Games Tetris freeware is a playable, free version of this puzzle game for your Pocket PC. This is all it can promise to deliver, unfortunately. If you'd rather give up some valuable space on your PDA's SD card in the name of Pocket PC freeware or would sell out your mother for a slice of white bread, keep reading. DisplayThe background will prove a delight if you're into turquoise. Complete with a strange looking '70s like design, it is hard on the eyes. The general palette chosen by the developer for Original Games free Tetris seems to be a bit washed out and is uninspiring. OptionsThere are no options, save from starting a new game or checking the version number.
You can also check the best scores, but that's about the size of it really. GameplayGameplay features the standard block queue preview and gets increasingly challenging as it notches up the block drop speed every so often. You won't find my favoured one-piece block drop move in the Original Games free Tetris version, either. If you find it awkward to rotate pieces by using pressing 'up' on your D-Pad, too bad. You can't change the assigned keys so you're pretty much stuck with the default configuration. ConclusionsGrab the Original Games Tetris freeware download here if jarringly bad graphics don't bother you and you only want the basics.
